KeepUp works because people trust each other with real plans, real money, and real gatherings. These guidelines apply to every Gather, Group, and interaction on the platform, whether you’re a Host, Co-Host, or Guest.
The short version
Be honest. Be respectful. Show up for the people you’re coordinating with.
Do
- Use your real name and accurate information on your profile.
- Respond to invites, RSVPs, and task assignments in good faith and in a timely way.
- Communicate clearly about money: what’s owed, what’s been paid, and by when.
- Respect the privacy of other members; don’t share someone else’s information (photos, contact info, payment details) outside the Gather without their permission.
- Report content or behavior that makes you feel unsafe or that violates these guidelines.
Don’t
- Harass, threaten, bully, or discriminate against anyone.
- Use invite links to spam, solicit, or scam people who join a Gather or Group.
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or violent.
- Misrepresent expenses, claim reimbursement for costs you didn’t incur, or otherwise misuse money-coordination features.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with an organization.
- Attempt to access another user’s account or a Gather/Group you haven’t been invited to.
Enforcement
Hosts and Co-Hosts are responsible for the Gathers and Groups they manage and may remove members who violate these guidelines. KeepUp may additionally remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines or our Terms of Service, at our discretion, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

If you see something that concerns you, report it through the in-app report option or email us at hello@keepuptogether.com. We review reports and take action consistent with these guidelines and our Terms of Service.
